Cookie policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) are treated in the same way.
2. Legal basis
Under the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2) and the EU ePrivacy rules, we may use without your consent only cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the website to work or for a service you have explicitly requested. All other technologies (analytics, advertising, social media) require your prior consent. We ask for it with the cookie banner, and we process analytics data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you click "Accept" (or switch analytics on in Settings). Until then, no connection to Google's analytics servers is made. We use it with Google signals switched off and without advertising features, remarketing or ad personalization (Google's consent signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization always stay denied). We record page views and, when you successfully send the contact form, a quick inquiry or a job application, one event (lead or application) that contains only the form type and the language. Google never receives names, email addresses, phone numbers, CVs or message text. Analytics data is kept for no longer than the data retention period set in our Google Analytics 4 property.
The website does not use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking technologies.
4. Third-party content
The map on the Contact page only loads after you click it. Google may then set its own cookies, governed by Google's privacy policy. Loading the map is a separate action you trigger yourself and is not part of the analytics choice. The "Get directions" link takes you to Google Maps.
5. Managing cookies
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing switches off measurement immediately and removes Google's cookies (_ga …) from your browser. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work properly (e.g. language selection).
6. Your choice and how it is recorded
The banner offers equally prominent "Accept", "Reject" and "Settings" buttons. If you do not choose, only the strictly necessary technologies run. We keep your choice in your browser for up to 12 months and then ask again, and also whenever we introduce a new kind of technology.
